Scuba Classes
We offer scuba classes for the beginner all the way to instructor classes and beyond. Be sure to ask about the Master Scuba Diver program, the Black Belt of scuba certification!
The pools we use are indoor heated pools, with complete amenities for before and after your pool sessions. Our scuba classrooms are state of the art digital class rooms taught in a round table format to give you the best possible experience during scuba classes. During class breaks you can go relax on our back deck and enjoy soda, water, and coffee on us!
Island Hoppers also supplies you with the best equipment to use during your scuba class. Most scuba stores use the cheapest equipment available for you to train in during your scuba classes. IHS has invested in top of the line Atomic regulators and Zeagle weight integrated BCDs to ensure you have a great scuba experience.

I fell in love with scuba diving in 1988 and shortly after became a scuba instructor. Since then I have trained over 3000 new divers and travel the world scuba diving. From the local lakes and quarries, most of the Caribbean, and throughout the Pacific with over 5000 dives, sharing diving with others is still what I enjoy the most. I started Island Hoppers to give divers a place to come locally to hang out, socialize, talk diving, and fulfill their diving needs in a no stress or pressure setting. Having fun is what we do and I would love to have you join us!

Never been in the ocean? Don't worry! Island Hoppers Scuba Nashville works with new divers and snorkelers, and clients of all ages. We've taken families on full scuba trips around the world, and also helped certify couples in SCUBA before they left for their honeymoons. Let us help you prepare to enjoy an adventure like none other.
Our goal is to help you become the diver that you want to be, live the Dream, and to make sure you have a great time along the way. We are not into high pressure tactics, and promise to always do what is best for you. Even if it means referring you to another scuba store.
